Student Stories

Janvi Kapoor

(LIS - 2014-15)

It was a cultural shock to shift from Dehradun to Silvassa. The language, lifestyle and even the education took twists and turn for an outsider like me. On my first day at LIS, my class teacher took me to the swimming pool (probably my favorite spot in the school). I sat there in awe looking at the beautiful landscapes of the school. Even after so many years, I miss the green grounds and smart classes. It was truly home away from home. With faculty from different places, we experienced all forms of learning.

(LIS - 2015-16)

From making memories to breaking stereotypes, from overcoming obstacles to forging my own destiny, I was fortunate enough to receive a holistic education that has immensely contributed to my personal and professional growth.

LIS has always nourished its students with the best possible exposure, opportunities, and learning infrastructure that makes them exceptional world leaders. Like how a true LIS-ian would say, ‘A place to learn, a space to grow’, LIS was much more than just a school, for me, it was a world in itself.  #lisianforever

(Alumna, Information Technology)

This college has the best teaching staff and all are very supportive. Also, this college is surrounded by nature, so it feels refreshing here. They conduct many events like sports week, Ekatra (technical/ non-technical events), and many more. If one is looking for an engineering college where studies are not the only focus, but an overall development including extra-curricular activities, search no more. This is the place!

Krunal Patil

(Alumnus, Mechanical Engineering)

It was a wonderful journey of being a Mechanical Engineer at LIT. I joined LIT as a simple student but left as a knowledgeable, passionate & confident engineer. All faculties throughout the course were very supportive. We organized 3 successful Tech-fests under them and they all responded wholeheartedly. Be it our HOD, faculty members, Workshop staff; their singular intention was to deliver knowledge in such a manner that it was imprinted in our minds. I would like to thank each and everyone who helped me throughout this journey. Thank you.
